Honestly, I don't know how much of a change this really made because I installed it near immediately when I got my Omni (had maybe an hour of scratching without it before installing). What I can say is that, with this installed, it's completely sturdy for even heavy handed scratching. For the price, there's no reason to not get this and give yourself a little more steadiness on the platter!
I just got my omni and want it to last so anything that will extend the life or make it run better I wanted to get for it. Idk if it was a combination of the practice yo cuts slipmat/sheets but It feels alot better now. I didn't notice any flex or lack of sturdiness before I put this on but it's solid for sure now
