It protects the corners and makes it look cool with the matte black look. The material looked like sandpaper in the pics but it's a smooth grip type material. Only issues I have are the 2 lights are hard to see theu the protectors.

They’ll prove very useful when scratching and cutting for hours to prevent wear ;)
